Job Description
Manages multi-channel direct marketing programs, including strategic planning, project execution and results analysis. CRM strategy and plan. Proactively identifies innovative solutions to client business needs. Reviews and analyzes campaign results, identifies trends and opportunities and coordinates strategy updates with integrated account team. Works with client and account team to clarify, develop and manage execution of ad hoc analysis and reporting requests. Cultivates client relationships and manages the account planning process.

Supervision Received: Reports to Sr. Client Sales Manager at Alliance Data Retail and dotted line reporting to Epsilon Database Manager for client account.

Examples of Duties: Accountable for managing the execution of integrated, multi-channel Marketing Playbook (communication plan) and the strategic account management business plan. Partners with integrated account team to provide day-to-day support and manage execution for integrated multi-channel communication plan, including direct mail, email, mobile, and telemarketing campaigns. Works with integrated account team and analytics services team to forecast campaign performance and enhance/adapt programs to ensure defined goals and objectives are met. Coordinates execution of direct mail, email and credit marketing programs with the integrated account team.

Gains understanding of client’s business and its needs and works with the integrated account team to identify creative solutions for current and future business needs. Works with Analytics Services Team to identify trends and anomalies in program performance that provide opportunities for enhancement, revision, or new solutions.

Partners with integrated account team to ensure marketing programs deliver value and work toward successfully meeting the agreed upon goals for each critical initiative. Reviews individual and collective campaign results and performance and provides recommendations to the integrated account team to adjust strategy, segmentation methodologies, cadence, channels or offers to increase effectiveness of programs.

Accesses and utilizes MicroStrategy reports that client is using. Assists client with maximizing information available to them before an ad hoc request is pursued. Works with client to clarify business reasons/decisions and ROI for ad hoc reporting requests. Works with internal team to develop specs and deliver ad hoc reporting that meets client expectations in a timely manner.

Participates in meetings between key client contacts and the integrated account team for Quarterly Business reviews and to discuss marketing plans, resolve open issues and provide progress updates. Prepares and presents client presentations based on research, client deliverables and proactive analysis on recommendations for marketing programs.

Requirements
• Proven capabilities and knowledge of multi-channel direct marketing concepts and principles. • Proven ability to execute multi-channel, integrated promotions and campaigns. • Knowledge of customer segmentation and modeling techniques. • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with budgeting and business analysis. • Professional demeanor with superior interpersonal and (verbal and written) communication skills, including the ability to influence others and be a strong negotiator. • Ability to work independently with little supervision and serve as a leader and representative of Alliance Data. • Ability to interact with senior management and executives. • Excellent project/time management skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment • Ability to facilitate effective group presentations/discussions. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, MicroStrategy and Alterian

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree in Business or Marketing. MBA preferred. Experience: 5+ years relevant experience in direct marketing management. Retail experience or working with retail clients a plus.
