ASSOCIATE INTERNATIONAL TRADE MANAGER Richmond, VA
The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) is seeking an Associate International Trade Manager to support 6 offices statewide in increasing sales for Virginia companies. Duties involve collaborating with staff to deliver export development programs, tracking participation and managing program expenditures. This position will also be responsible for the State Trade Export Promotion (STEP) Grant funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
The associate manager will have considerable knowledge of international business practices and export promotion practices. Strong communication skills are essential as is experience with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, track and report on progress, and meet deadlines is critical. This position requires in-state overnight travel and occasional international travel. An undergraduate degree in international business or related field or equivalent work experience is required. A valid driver’s license is required. Salary minimum: $48.000.
