The Sales Representative works closely with NSCP staff on ways to gain NSCP membership, develop strategic partnerships with sponsors, exhibitors and service providers and assist with marketing materials all aimed at achieving NSCP’s business goals and strategic initiatives.
The Sales Representative will also work with outside vendors, exhibitors and sponsors in furtherance of the marketing objectives of NSCP. The Sales Representative will represent NSCP at its National Meeting as well as select compliance related conferences in the United States.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Sales Representative is the first line of contact for new and existing NSCP members. This position requires the Sales Representative to field and respond to membership questions and solicit new members for the association. The Sales Representative is also responsible for researching and maintaining prospecting lists. This position works closely with the NSCP’s Deputy Executive Director to keep track of renewals and new member’s applications which are reported to management on a monthly basis.
The Sales Representative will develop, solicit new and retain current exhibitors/sponsors for NSCP Events. The Sales Representative will keep updated the sponsors and exhibitors check lists including terms and conditions forms, commitment forms, insurance forms, logos and links. The position will create new sponsorship ideas, order sponsorship items and send out passwords and registration forms for sponsor’s attendees.
The Sales Representative will represent NSCP at select industry conferences. In representing NSCP the position is required to be familiar with all NSCP offerings and insuring that sufficient marketing materials and giveaways are available at each conference attended.
The Sales Representative will work with NSCP’s marketing consultant to develop ads, links and sales “pitches” to be placed on websites and included in industry publications as well as, find strategic partnerships to help sell attendance at NSCP Events.
Preferred Bachelor’s degree
Commitment to a disciplined work from home environment
Minimum 2 years’ relevant sales experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter. Ability to react and respond quickly to changing market demands that affect the association
Ability to work as a team player with willingness to assist other employees, board members and members when needed
Prior experience with Salesforce, MailChimp, WordPress, Form Assembly and Windows Office a plus
Telecommuting is allowed.
