The Content Marketing Analyst will receive a generous total compensation package. Bonuses are awarded in recognition of individual and firm performance. As a Content Marketing Analyst at Latham, you will lead the quantitative and qualitative analysis and strategic recommendations of the Firm’s digital communications, social media, content marketing, and thought leadership campaigns.
You will report to the Senior Manager – Digital Media, work closely with the Senior Manager – Global Editorial Services, and support the wider Brand & Communications team collaborating across the Digital & Social Media, Public Relations, Editorial Services, and Internal Communications teams. You will also work closely with the Firm’s Business Intelligence and Data Science team.
The Analyst will actively collate, compare, and analyze data and share insights and opportunities gleaned from the collection process. The Analyst will deliver creative, data-driven reports and strategic recommendations to support the Firm’s marketing campaigns and thought leadership program across channels as well as the Firm’s internal communications program. The Analyst’s responsibilities will include:
Leading on the design, development and implementation of data reports and data mining solutions for Firm leadership across practice and industry, project leads for campaigns, and individual authors of thought leadership content.
Identifying and understanding website KPIs using Google Analytics platform. Optimizing campaigns and measurements in order to enhance our content marketing program. Providing insights to help build more robust analytics platform to align with future CMS platform.
Aggregating data from across social media channels to inform content producers on ROI and best practices for future content development.
Working with the Internal Communications team to collect and analyze data from internal communications channels to improve content and engagement.
Aggregating and analyzing content data from various sources—CMS, social media channels, Google Analytics, e-marketing, and other propriety databases—to inform recommendations and to build custom reports.
Advising on partnering with and subscribing to third party vendors to support distribution of content.
Utilizing data to advise on content creation strategy based on patterns and trends in engagement of content across different media formats. Acting as resource to the Firm regarding martech analytical tools and processes. Staying abreast of developments and trends in these areas, making recommendations as needed.
Conducting industry research and market intelligence, as appropriate.
Assisting with and/or implementing other special projects or research assignment initiatives as assigned.
Promoting effective work practices, working as a team member, and showing respect for co-workers.
As an Analyst, you will be expected to apply your organizational and communication skills while displaying a positive, high-energy attitude. The successful Analyst must have strong analytical skills needed for all primary duties of the position, including comprehending and communicating data, along with strong experience in marketing and communications as well as digital and business-to-business marketing, preferably in a professional services context. The ideal candidate will be a creative, innovative thinker and problem solver with an ability to conceive of new ways to achieve business-related goals, and will have strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple, complex projects in an often intense and deadline-driven environment. The Analyst will have data profiling skills to identify and understand anomalies and trends, and have familiarity with reporting and visualization technologies such as Tableau, Power BI, Business Objects, etc.
A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in marketing and data analysis is desired.
