Develop, manage, and execute digital marketing and communications strategies for Office of Continuing and Distance Education (OCDE) programs and students, with a primary focus on marketing programs. Coordinate, collaborate, and provide expertise to all stakeholders, including external partners, faculty members, deans, academic chairs, and directors. Plan and implement email campaigns, department web pages and presence, social media, and other communication and marketing strategies. Oversee and direct the administration of digital marketing and customer relationship management (CRM) for OCDE programs, including data management and data analytics. Reports to the Associate Vice President, Office of Continuing and Distance Education.
Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:
Coordinate and support all aspects of digital strategy and communications for OCDE programs.
Incorporate emerging technologies into digital and print communication and marketing strategies.
Oversee and direct the development and implementation of all strategic communication and marketing plans; combine print and electronic materials for strategic marketing and messaging, press releases, newsletters, etc.
Establish, track, and ensure that relevant data and analytics inform and guide communications, marketing, and enrollment strategies.
Manage relationships with Kent State colleges, schools, departments, campuses, and external partners to execute website design projects, digital marketing, and data analytics, utilizing CRM to develop effective communication strategies.
Provide daily administration and oversight of CRM and digital marketing systems.
Supervise marketing interns and/or students.
Serve as departmental liaison with university administrators and University Marketing and Communications (UCM) staff members.
Collaborate with Kent State colleges, schools, and departments to coordinate program marketing and social media messaging.
Manage marketing relationships with external partners, vendors, companies, and professional associations.
Collaborate with OCDE and other Kent State staff on data management, input and output for CRM, and enterprise system integration.
Manage budget resources for digital engagement, marketing, and communications.
Serve on various campus and community committees, task forces, and/or councils.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field. Five years managing digital and web content systems or related experience.
License/Certification: Not applicable
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in a relevant field.
