The Assistant Director, Student Run Businesses and Marketing will be responsible for leading the development of the Student Center’s brand and marketing vision. As the creator of this strategy this position will serve as oversight for the implementation of the marketing vision for the three functional areas of the Student Center. Oversight of the Student Center's marketing efforts will include creation of the full marketing plan, directing and supervising the Office Assistant and Student Marketing Assistant in maintaining websites, digital signage, print pieces, building signage and social media projects. The position will be the hub for all promotional material design, will write and edit copy, ensure that other Student Center Administration team members and their areas are well represented within the marketing plan of the Student Center and will ensure all programs have strong Web and Social Media presence. The Assistant Director will supervise the Student Center’s Student Marketing Assistant.
The Assistant Director will serve as an integral member of the Student Run Business (SRB) Advising Team and the Student Center Administration. The Assistant Director will offer advising and administrative support to the three current SRBs. This individual will work with the Associate Director to create leadership development programs and resources for each of the SRBs.
