The successful candidate should possess familiarity with web content management systems, and other web development tools including some experience with HTML/CSS; experience with Adobe Creative Suite; and skilled using Mac or PC. Experience working in an organization or agency with a record of marketing/public relations work for clients with multiple audiences and many products; and knowledge of Indiana University or comparable institution.
Experience with designing for mobile devices and ability to work within an open creative studio-environment; and strong knowledge of user-centered design and usability principles, issues, and techniques. Expertise in creative marketing concepting, including facilitating and participating in team brainstorms, and implementation; and deep understanding of visual design principles and the ability to implement these principles in projects. Experience in brand strategy and implementation; and expertise in the technical implementation of visual designs and interactivity across media, including exhaustive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and the print and web production processes.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal including a customer service orientation and ability to interact with a wide variety of individuals including staff, faculty, and vendors; and strong client presentation skills. Strong organizational and multitasking skills including ability to perform detailed work, change priorities as project scope changes, and perform multiple, concurrent tasks. Demonstrated creativity in identifying complex problems and finding solutions quickly and accurately as well as attention to detail.
