Role Purpose: The Field Marketing Specialist is responsible for contributing, communicating and executing the regional marketing strategy. This role is responsible for managing the planning, execution, analytics and follow-up necessary to drive business growth through the execution of HQ and local marketing activities, including programs, events and new product launches. Works closely with regional marketing, sales, and customer support team members to accomplish these results. This role leverages market sizing and segmentation, analytics and CRM data to define marketing actions that develop markets, convert new customers and grow existing accounts.

Key Accountabilities / Areas of Responsibilities / Key Metrics for Role:
Creation and execution of regional marketing strategy
Aggregates marketing needs of region
Engages with distributor marketing teams to understand their needs
Creates a prioritized regional marketing strategy
Champion the ongoing education of the Rockwell Automation integrated sales and marketing strategies
Commercial planning and event execution
Own regional commercial plan by facilitating the planning process, leading the commercial plan creation (based upon needs of market and target accounts)
Champion the execution of the commercial plan through the segmented selling organization and our distributor partners
Identify opportunities for improvement and acceleration of promotional campaigns, sales force engagement, lead nurturing activities and customer follow up.
Orchestrate all new product launches. Includes planning, execution, measurement, feedback and continuous improvement
Orchestrate the commercial programs and events by: executing headquarters based commercial programs and events, developing local commercial programs and events (as needed) and by working with distributor partners on their needs.
Communicates commercial plan
Coach and assist the team responsible for the execution of campaigns, events, programs and launches
Set goals for sales, funnel, wins, competitive buying influencers (CBI's) for all commercial activities and measure performance against goals.
Ensure Rockwell Automation is represented in the regional marketplace to be the brand of choice
GDSP funnel growth and opportunity acceleration
Track/monitor opportunities through the CRM system for specific events and growth initiatives to ensure planned ROI is attained
Monitors CRM funnel to recommend marketing actions to help convert customers and grow existing accounts
Collaborate with the sales development team responsible for generating and nurturing leads for sales efforts with CBI's as well as opportunities identified outside the existing customer base.
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with key intern/external stakeholders
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or Associates degree with equivalent experience.
3+ years marketing experience or relevant experience
