TradeNet Publishing is currently looking for an energetic Account Executive. The Account Executive sells to and services existing accounts to achieve sales growth in TradeNet product lines. This position is responsible for performing sales and customer service functions for targeted markets, programs and sales as assigned. Salary is based on experience and is up to $65,000.00 annually.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Contacts current and prospective customers to sell and explain products and programs and solicit new business within the market area. Suggest additional or alternative products to the customer.
Prepares, processes, reviews and monitors various documents such as contracts and other documents.
Travel to customer offices, conventions, meetings, and trade shows to represent TradeNet products and services. Approximately 12 weeks per year of travel is required.
Prepare and present proposals and quotes and recommend products based on the customer’s needs. Prepare and calculate product sales, invoicing, rebates and other accounting related functions.
Assists customers and arranges payment terms in accordance with established guidelines. Collect delinquent accounts.
Answers customer questions regarding potential and existing orders; discusses job specifications, special handling, and other order issues. Educates customers regarding manual and online order processes.
Researches and effectively resolves customer problems. Follows up with customers as needed. Makes or recommends adjustments concerning service rendered. Consults with manager on more complex complaints.
Confers with production, sales, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments.
Provide administrative assistance and support.

College degree or four years related experience and/or training in sales; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiarity with printing processes or promotional products a plus.
Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a demanding environment while maintaining accuracy.
Ability to learn quickly from a combination of written materials, observing and on-the-job training. Ability to gather and analyze information. Ability to make appropriate decisions from a limited number of choices. Ability to remain poised and professional under pressure. High team and service orientation. Very good listening skills.
Possess a strong work ethic, time management, troubleshooting skills, positive attitude and takes the initiative to get things done.
Excellent computer skills.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk; use hands to finger or handle (computer keyboarding, use of office equipment); reach with hands and arms; and talk, hear and listen. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus (to and from computer monitor).
This job is mainly in a professional office setting. The position routinely uses standard office equipment. There will be times when the employee will be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, common to a printing facility, as there will be times that the employee will need to go out to the factory. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is moderate; work environment changes from office to production depending on the task at hand.
