The Assistant Director of Marketing & Communications leads all event and program marketing activities for the Rustandy Center and oversees and created content aimed at the center's audiences. This person helps bring the center's brand to life through email communications and other digital content, including the center's blog, external platforms, and the center's social media accounts. Important components of this position include creating and overseeing all events and program-based marketing and communications and working with graphic designers and writers to develop content and oversee the creation of events and program print materials for the center.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Work with associate director of marketing to develop and execute email marketing strategy related to the center's suite of programming, including writing, editing, and sending emails. Ensure events and programs are achieving their target goals. Track progress against goals.- Manage email communication schedule (Weekly events emails, Monthly events emails, dedicated program/events emails, newsletter) and write, design and send emails. - Coordinate and produce printed materials, including signage and printed program booklets, for Rustandy center events- Oversee the dissemination of event and program information by managing Rustandy Center website and online calendars and ensuring campus and community partners are promoting Rustandy events and programs.- Helps define on-campus communications strategy and executes by working with campus partners to produce and disseminate Rustandy Center content- Execute events and programs content strategy on the center's blog and Rustandy Center electronic publications. - Manage the creation of student and alumni profiles to share Rustandy Center success stories, including interviewing, writing, editing, and working with freelance writers. - Support in developing website content for center's site, working with marketing associate director and program team. - Serve as Rustandy Center liaison on the Booth Social Media Council.- Manage and update media tracking document, leveraging appropriate content for social media, electronic communications, etc. - Support the associate director of marketing as needed, including - Be a willing resource to support ad hoc requests, related to programs, events, and non-marketing Rustandy Center projects, as needed.
