The Social Media Marketing Manager will be responsible for the planning, development, execution, analysis, and optimization of innovative social and digital programs to increase overall brand awareness and drive measurable leads to sales. Responsible for the daily management and administration of all social channels and marketing for Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, Linked-In and third-party channels with Design Associations and Trade Markets’ profiles. Engage and create an interactive relationship between consumers and the company.
In close collaboration with the Digital Marketing Manager & Channel Marketing Manager, this role will use social and external digital channels to amplify the overall brand message and targeted campaigns to create one consistent brand voice and drive results. Key factors of success include 1) Proactive analysis (leveraging Candid, Planoly, Hubspot, Zoho Analytics, Marketing Hub, Google Analytics, etc.) 2) Ability to develop and maintain a KPI dashboard 3) Confidence and creativity in pre-planning initiatives and campaigns that are high-quality content designed to entertain, inspire and inform.
Responsibilities
Conceptualize and create a masterful social media calendar that educates, entertains, and inspires a range of B2B and B2C customers through:
Original, curated content, UGC, Guest Designer Program and leveraging editorial coverage
Collaborating with internal and external resources to generate new programs that maximize market and event traffic
Work closely with the Marketing, Visual Merchandising and Sales team to develop campaigns that help achieve corporate goals
Organize and maintain all assets
Research and facilitate outreach to external parties to acquire content assets for our digital marketing programs
Manages Third Party Platforms (Design Associations and Trade Markets) to improve brand awareness and drive revenue
Manage paid and unpaid social media strategies and digital advertising for all sales channels
Develop monthly digital dashboard reports that analyze and distill emerging social media trends that will be submitted to the Executive Team and Board of Directors. Reporting should include best practices and observations on future opportunities and improvements.
BA/BS degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience
AMA or DMI certification is a plus
Preferred B2B Social Media Strategy and Marketing experience with accountability in measurement, metrics, and ROI of programs
10+ years of experience in Marketing and Social Media
Demonstrated track record of social media engagement success
Extensive knowledge of interior design, architecture or design, history, or art a plus.
Experience with luxury branding and merchandising strongly preferred
Highly organized with attention to detail
Self-motivated with strong work ethic
In-depth knowledge of and interest in online media; up-to-date with latest industry trends and technology
Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging entrepreneurial environment
Excellent communicator (verbal and written) and able to liaise with cross-functional groups such as IT, operations, sales, product development, etc.
Demonstrated aptitude in planning, time management, project management, budget adherence and branding
Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook tools.
Solid knowledge of the use of Wordpress and Adobe suite required
Solid knowledge of Hubspot, Zoho MarketingHub, Planoly Analyze, Zoho ANalygitcs, Pinterest Insights, Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics and LinkedIn Analytics.
Willingness to travel 10% to attend company trade shows and customer events.
